We finished our Brain Projects and have spent a couple of days on consciousness.
We are going to review how the drugs have an effect on our consciousness by disrupting the natural action of the neurotransmitters at the synapse, and each drug has a different way of disrupting the synapse.
For Friday, please do the following tasks
1) Print out the "Mouse Party" handout - found HERE and fill in in!
2) Go through the "Drugs and Consciousness" PowerPoint (HERE)
2) Peruse the Mouse Party website (HERE) - go through each mouse and see how its brain is affected by its drug of choice.
